Cross-designated as Special Assistant United States Attorney, as well as Special Assistant State's Attorney for Harford County, due to joint drug investigations and prosecutions.

Responsibilities - Handled all narcotics-related cases occurring in the western half of Baltimore County, from investigation through final disposition. Worked closely with the Baltimore County Police Department's Narcotics Squad in all on-going investigations in that area, including several court-ordered wiretaps. Worked on joint investigations with the United States Attorney's Office, other State Attorney's Offices, as well as other drug enforcement agencies. Also handled prosecution of several contract murder cases.
